This is another recommended horror film due to the creepiness of it. Even the poster itself is extremely disturbing. It is a true art on the directors' part to involve the viewer, once he brings you into his world, that's where the adrenaline starts, and there's no turning back until the movie ends. Based on a playstation video game, it was way better than expected. This is like heaven as compared to the hellish "House of the Dead". This is one movie that's underrated. The plot is great, the ending is a little open-ended but it works like a charm, as opposed to other movies which instil open-ended endings giving you a sense of neither here nor there; an incomplete ending. The story is about a mother who wants to spend some time with his daughter alone in a town called "Silent Hill". There, she loses track of her and starts searching for her, only to discover that every once in a while a siren will sound, changing everything around her into a diabolical evil. If you are a fan of the video game, you may appreciate this movie more than someone who has never played the game before. Everytime the siren sounds, your heart will start pounding... that I can guarantee regardless of whether you are a fan or not. Did I forget to mention that there's excellent CG as well as graphic scenes in it?
