Blood and Chocolate

Rating: 6.5/10
Genre: Horror
Overall value for money and time: 6/10

Despite negative critiques for this movie at imdb.com, I feel otherwise about this movie. I thought it was well done. It could be due to me watching it after skinwalkers, another werewolve movie which I could make a comparison to. Initially, I thought this movie was a vampire movie. Still, I was pleasantly disappointed as the plot, concept and acting were great. It's not the usual werewolf like figures you normally see or imagine. Instead, the werewolves in this movie are humans who can actually change into wolves. Cool movie to catch and a must see if you are one werewolf fanatic. There is a lack of impacting action scenes in this movie, but the plot itself can cover this drawback. The basic plot of this movie is about a werewolf girl who has the bloodline of the leaders and she is going to marry the "king" of the pack soon, to continue their heritage. However, she does not want to lead the "norm" life of being a werewolf, hence, she allows herself to fall in love with a human.

(P.S: The picture for the movie posted is for the DVD version but apparently it seems that it's the same for the one used in Singapore. The US version of the poster is a totally different one. Hence, I wanted a more local feel to it, despite compromising the "norm" of using movie posters in this website which is more appealing and which provides a "cleaner" look due to the absence of the extra words such as "DVD video" etc.)
