Meet the Robinsons

Rating: 7.9/10
Genre: Animation
Overall value for money and time: 8/10

Just another typical pixar movie? That was what I thought to myself when it came out in the cinemas. Ever since "The Incredibles", pixar hasn't been producing good animations. Ever since the great classic "Finding Nemo", animated film productions were a little overkilled. That was why I avoided this movie only when it came out on DVDs. This is easily the 3rd best animated film, ever! Believe it or not, it sure rocks. I caught it after watching "Ratatouille". It surpassed "Rataouille" to be my 3rd best animated film. It's about a baby boy who was deserted by his mother to an orphanage since young and due to his intrigued mind about inventions, adoptions were hard to come by when he was a young boy. His inventions have been failing, and he was about to give up when another young boy from the future met up with him. This film almost felt like an adult movie, not the XXX films, but one for adults. It has the most adult feel as compared to all the animated films probably because the characters are somewhat "human-like". The plot is pretty matured too, the message they were trying to put across to viewers may be 1 too common, yet, we seldom seem to understand it despite realising it. "Don't be stuck in the past, look towards the future and never give up! Failure is the mother of all successes!" The way the moral of the story is portrayed is excellent. Do not miss this film due to the unattractive movie title! You will regret it if you gave this movie a miss!
