Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Rating: 5.5/10
Genre: Comedy
Overall value for money and time: 5.1/10

This film might not be everyone's cup of tea, well... it certainly isnt mine. This movie has a different genre of dirty jokes... those that are realistic to some extend. Perhaps this movie would appeal more to teenagers as opposed to adults, and especially to the US audiences. I do not think it would be a hit in foreign countries as it came across as a rather "local" film for the United States, just like "Money No Enough" for us Singaporeans. I was uncomfortable most of the time in the movie due to the crudity of it and the plot is pretty ridiculous and a total no-brainer. Borat is this supposed documentary host from Kazakhstan who takes his crew to America. Along the way, he found himself a mission, to meet up with the girl of his dreams, Pamela Anderson, whom he saw on some adult magazines. Wasn't that laughable to me during the movie but it does have some priceless and unforgettable hilarious scenes. 2 words for this movie: Crude Humour!
