The movie is about a negative guy who says 'no' to almost everything. However, he was given the challenge to say 'yes' to every opportunity that comes his way. Things snowballs when an unexpected encounter with a homeless beggar leads to another life changing event, and so forth. Any movie with Jim Carrey in it will almost always yield lotsa laughter, especially when you know its a supposedly funny movie. However, I have to say that might be true only in the past, back in those days when he was starring in The Mask and Ace Ventura. He has lost his comedy appeal with his standard gags and rubber face. Though I'm a huge fan of his, I have to admit this isn't a great movie. Joey Deschanel contributed a major part in the rating. The situation in the movie is unrealistic, and the humor is borderline standard. If asked whether the movie is recommended... I will pause a little... and say... "Maybe".
